ABOUT OUR PASTOR

BIOGRAPHY

Pastor Timothy McKibbins was saved as a young lad at the age of 10 in the morning service. He received the gift of the Holy Ghost that same day in the evening service. He became the church organist at age of 13. He served diligently in this capacity for 26 years. He worked along beside his mother, Pastor Annie O. McKibbins to move a choir from 15 voices to a choir of 122 voices strong.

His musical abilities were developed through the mentorship of many of America’s renowned artist whom he humbly honors with recognition to name a few: the late Dr. Mattie M. Clark, Twinkie Clark, the late Kenneth Ward, Keith Pringle, and Michael Ross. He has accompanied many stage artist and ministers namely:  Bishop Earnestine Reems Dickerson, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Dr. Mildred Harris, Prophetess Perri Reid (Formally known as Pebbles), Whitney Houston, Gene Martin and Professor Iris Stevenson.

He was call to the ministry very early in life but only accepted the call publicly in August 2001 as his life long Pastor Bishop M.D. Spires licensed him to go forth and make full proof of his ministry. In 2002, he was ordained for the next level ministry. In 2006, he was elevated to the office of ordained Elder. He served for a number of years as Co-Director of the Rays of Hope Youth Ministry.

His work is distinguished in that he serves in many capacities of the ministry. He helps to plan, promote and organize different facets of the ministry. He is an excellent depositor of the spoken word. He enjoys serving the Men’s Fellowship as the coordinator. Pastor Timothy has served for many years on the Prison Outreach Team that ministered in the Federal Penitentiary. He is known for his leadership ability both in the professional arena and as well as the religious sector.

Pastor Timothy has been happily married for 20 years to the love of his life Candee.

They are the blessed parents of two sons Christopher and Bradley. He is a very involved parent in giving them a balanced life first spiritually, but also contributes to their educational, musical and athletic development.

Pastor Timothy comes from a line of clergy both from Patriarch and Matriarch. His grandfather pastored for 60 plus years (Baptist Church). His grandmother was an Evangelist for over 50 plus years (A.M.E Church). His father was a Pastor/Evangelist and accomplished musician. His mother is a Pastor/Evangelist. He also has aunts and uncles who are Pastors/Elders/Ministers.

Because of the biological foundation from whence Pastor Timothy came, he has promised the Lord that he is willing to cross denominational, racial and ethnic barriers to help save his generation. He walks under a heavy prophetic anointing and is driven by his passion to know the Fathers Heart.

Currently his destiny is calling him to take the torch that has been passed down through generations to serve this present age and the call he must fulfill.

The two life awarded gifts that Pastor Timothy loves to share are: God allowed him to pick his wife out of a large bouquet of beautifully planted flowers right in the church of The Church Atlanta Lighthouse. Secondly, he is one of the few spiritual sons that came up under the tutorage of Bishop M.D. Spires and remained to serve him at this stage in his life.

To God Be the Glory!
