First Lady Candee McKibbins

Affectionately referred to as Lady Candee, Candee is the First Lady of Church of Atlanta Lighthouse. She has been happily married to L.Timothy McKibbins  for 20 years and is the mother of two wonderful sons, Christopher 17  and Bradley 14.

Lady Candee received a  cosmetology license from Arnold  University of Cosmetology and was a hair stylist for over 20 years. She later attended Dekalb  Perimeter College and was certified as an Interior Decorator, which has been a passion of hers for years.

First Lady was in a head-on car crash  at the age of 21 where she had over 10 major surgeries.  To God be the glory for his miraculous healing and keeping power. This produced an unwavering faith and total trust in God for her life.

She humbly facilitates several auxiliaries at church. As facilitator of  Lift ( Ladies in Fellowship Together)  women's ministry, first lady challenges women to know their purpose in the Kingdom,  promises in the word of God and the power needed to withstand the challenges that come to hinder one's destiny.

Lady Candee started a 45 and under sunday school class, "How to balance your life according to God's word" where the  women are encouraged to use the experiences of biblical women to relate to their own lives and experiences in a practical way.

Her personality which is a no-nonsense candor is used to teach a women's  sunday school class every first sunday. Although no- nonsense is the method, God has gifted her to still give it in love and with compassion.

Candee loves encouraging and  motivating others towards growth and maturity in the spiritual as well as the natural aspects of life realizing that God ordains a life of balance for His people. She loves to serve the members in any way to show the  Love of God wherever or in whatever  way she can help  build the Kingdom of God, for she understands the Kingdom of heaven sufferers violence but the violent takes it by force. She demonstrates, you must be radical in your walk with the Lord!

First Lady serves side-by-side with her husband, Pastor Tim, whereby they are striving to be an example to other Christian couples that you can live, love and lead like Christ in marriage! She loves being a wife as well as a mother and knows how to keep a balance in home, work, and ministry in an effort to not cause a false balance.

(Proverbs 11:1  A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.)

She is a christian woman of faith, wisdom, poise and compassion, especially known for her beautiful smile! She's been told her name represents her well-sweet. Her passion is to help women achieve spiritual and emotional wholeness. One of her main goals is to help women discover their God-given purpose and use it to transform others for Kingdom service.

The  Church of Atlanta Lighthouse is blessed to have Lady Candee as their Leading Lady! She believes  all should live life to the fullest.  Her motto is "Live, Not just Exist; Be happy, have fun and just smile."
